We adopt a two-phase, integrated approach to client projects which
helps us with gathering and analysing information and turning this
into a strategic plan which is then implemented.
During the first phase we determine the outcome required and establish
the means by which it can be achieved. The second phase is focused
on delivering the results.
We take a hands-on approach,working on site with our clients. To enable
us to implement change successfully it is essential that we understand
exactly what you do, what you are looking to achieve and the way you
currently work.
Fundamental to our approach is to agree and set measurable targets
for what you want to achieve. That way we can clearly show you the
impact our recommendations will have and provide you with a means
to review our progress during implementation.
We then carry out a survey of your business,which will typically review
business performance, strategy, organisational structure, systems
used to plan and control work flows,work practices and culture.
From this information we use a number of techniques, diagnostic studies
and models to compare your present position with what you want to
achieve and then develop an approach and implementation plan that
will enable you to meet your objectives.
Once we have agreed the approach and implementation plan, we work
with you to it put into practice. This will involve your staff and
consultants from Matrix Management working together in an agreed
structure.
We work at all appropriate levels of the organisation to ensure
that the people involved understand the work that is being done,
what effect it will have on them, and their role in implementation.
Because we are not part of the organisation, client staff are more
willing to be open about real business issues.
This helps us to provide independent, objective advice on how best
to resolve them. This forms part of gaining the confidence and commitment
of staff to help aid the change to the new way of working.
Project progress is closely monitored and reviewed with you on a
regular basis to ensure a successful outcome.
